Community tage?

Someone posted in another thread mabye we could do a community tage and I think this is a perfect idea, get every1 involved if we can and promote ProMod and Fragsaway at the same time.

Im gonna do a poll so cast your votes but obviously we would need good editors and people who can record clips, but im assuming enough of us have capture cards anyway.

I'm sure players have clips, just nobody seems to be willing to help out... I don't have a PVR myself but I know of at least 2 or 3 people with PVR's who have told me they have a couple of clips. Assuming 5 players had 3 clips each thats enough for a decent video and it's not a big ask D;

please. we need to make a promo. that should be top priority as of now. com movie is a good idea but its too early imo.

I disagree, you can't really be creative or entertaining with a promo. People will see 'Fragsaway promo!' and not even watch, if it's a community tage they will watch it, see we have skilled players, an active community and can actually deliver what we say we will! AS opposed to the generic 3D text promos you see all over youtube.

then make it gameplay based. to make a decent full length comm movie could take months. make a mini movie gameplay based to act as a promo.

If we get a lot of players on board we could easy have all the gameplay in a week. It only needs to be 3.5 minutes + tbh, the days of 9 minute videos are over for the most part, the admins and mods need to really push this, get messages out on xbox/post a global announcement/get their youtube page looking respectable and start to promote and get big players interested.

also Dazzle quality much? and also promo's don't get watched very often (have to admit i never watch em) if someone has got like a 3/4 piece or quick clutch would be great to add. like 2-3 10 second clips from each player who records would easily help in the making of a community tage. getting clips to editors etc is only trouble if they have a bad connection for uploading etc.

The clips should only be HD or nobody will watch or care for it. And I wouldn't really go around calling a community tage your idea lmao it's a pretty standard thing for communities to do.

£180 for quality i would do it. soo pointless!! i think its stupid buying PVR's to record playing xbox why couldn't people just not be so picky and watch dazzle quality. (ive got dazzle LOL)
